In my workshop, campers will learn that their "normal" will never be "normal" again, but they must create a NEW normal. They will also learn how to become unstuck, which so many of us experience. Grief can paralyze you. As a widow with five young children, having to see my husband in my children, having first moments without their father and helping my children get unstuck was very challenging. Campers will learn how to retrain their thinking and place grief in its' rightful place. I will share tools on how to let go of anger, guilt and regret. I will also expose the results and manifestations of staying stuck and how harmful this can be to the individual and the people around them. Moving forward does not mean that you "get over" your loved one. And you also do not have to know "why" in order to move forward. My goal is to bring peace to those who can't seem to see, through the muddy waters. I will also speak on recognizing that EACH death experience, is very much different, yet the same. Various death experiences and losses bring different feelings, emotions and also resolutions. My goal for my workshop, is that every camper who attends my session, will walk away with TANGIBLE methods on how THEY can cope with grief and move forward. My goal is to teach them HOW.
