The Soaring Spirits Resilience Center at Schreiner University is a first of its kind center focused on the study of resilience in widowed men and women. The Soaring Spirits Resilience Center utilizes the research conducted with the help of the Soaring Spirits community to create hands-on, practical tools to assist widowed men and women as they create a life of meaning and purpose after the death of a spouse or partner.
We are doing ground-breaking work and are super excited to share the news of the 2017 ceremony for founding the center on the Schreiner campus, updates on the Soaring Spirits Widowed Resilience Scale and a glimpse of our five-year plan to hold the first ever International Academic Conference on Widowhood on the Schreiner University campus in 2023!
Join Soaring Spirits Executive Director, Michele Neff Hernandez, and Soaring Spirits Director of Research, Dr. Carrie West to learn what’s new and what’s next for the amazing research work being done at the Soaring Spirits Resilience Center at Schreiner University.
